Release of Liability

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that participation in a sea trial aboard a TacOps Maritime Systems, Inc. vessel and/or a Petestep vessel during SOF Week 2026 involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks associated with high-speed maritime operations, rough seas, wave impacts, sudden accelerations and decelerations, slips, falls, vibration, exposure to weather and spray, mechanical failure, and the transfer of passengers between vessels at sea. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

I confirm that I am physically fit and medically able to participate in a high-speed sea trial. I understand that wave impacts and repeated shock loads can place significant stress on the back, neck, joints, and internal organs, and I represent that I have no spinal, cardiovascular, neurological, orthopedic, pregnancy-related, or other medical condition that would make participation unsafe for me or others. I agree to disclose any such condition to the crew prior to boarding and to follow all safety briefings and crew instructions at all times.

LIFE JACKETS. I understand that life jackets will be made available on board both the TacOps USV and the Petestep demonstrator vessel. Wearing a life jacket is optional but strongly recommended at all times while aboard, during transfers between vessels, and whenever underway.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge TacOps Maritime Systems, Inc., Petestep, their officers, employees, agents, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I confirm I am at least 18 years of age.

NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR RECORDING. I agree that I will not photograph, video record, audio record, or otherwise capture any imagery or data of the vessels, equipment, sensors, payloads, crew, or operations during the sea trial — including before boarding, while underway, and after disembarking — without express written authorization from TacOps Maritime Systems, Inc. and Petestep. I agree to keep all recording devices stowed and powered off during the trial.

NON-DISCLOSURE. I acknowledge that information observed during the sea trial — including but not limited to vessel performance characteristics, sensor and payload configurations, autonomy capabilities, technical specifications, personnel, and operational procedures — may be proprietary, confidential, sensitive, or export-controlled. I agree not to disclose, publish, post on social media, or otherwise share any such information with any third party without express written authorization from TacOps Maritime Systems, Inc. and Petestep. This obligation survives completion of the sea trial.

Medical considerations or accommodations the crew should know about (optional)

Disclose any back, neck, spinal, cardiovascular, orthopedic, or other condition that may affect your participation. This information will be shared only with the operating crew.
